Defence against external aggression, the defeat of armed internal challenges, and maintaining stability in the immediate neighbourhood of South Asia have been India’s defence priorities since Independence. Since India’s assertion of nuclear status in 1998 and its economic emergence in subsequent years, senior leaders and officials have been highlighting the country’s economic and geopolitical interests in the Extended Neighbourhood.
Hence in the crowded bay of Media and cut throat competition for TRP, the relevant news about the defence and security concerns in our country and across the world is lost in oblivion.
As a result, Defence and Security Alert (DSA) was launched as a supreme, accurate and authentic information platform that provides credible content to spread awareness among the people. Defence and Security Alert(DSA) was launched by Ocean Media Private Limited, New Delhi, a company of a leading publishing group of India, headed by Mr Pawan Agrawal, Publisher and Group CEO and Mr Manvendra Singh, a noted defence journalist, columnist and a former member of Indian Parliament as Editor-in-chief.
The only ISO 9001:2015 certified magazine in the defence and security journalism in India, DSA is not just a monthly glossy magazine but is based on a thought process to keep the world aware and updated with every minute and detailed information in the defence and security domain. The magazine offers an overview of India’s long established as well as more recent external and internal defence and security priorities.
Our vision is to enable, enlighten and empower each reader with better insights and quality content all over the world.
